Part-Time Staff Worker

8–12 hours per week (negotiable)

Llandudno Youth for Christ is looking for a practising Christian to join our team from September 2026 (flexible).

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a growing ministry that works with hundreds of young people each year through schools, youth groups, events, mentoring and community projects.

About the role

You’ll work alongside the Centre Director and our volunteer team, helping strengthen and develop the ministry through a varied role that includes:

• Administration and communications – helping with newsletters, social media, supporter communications, databases and general administration.
• Youth work – supporting existing projects including schools work, Redefine, Recess, events, camps and residentials.
• Training and development – receiving mentoring, training and opportunities to grow in youth ministry and other areas of the organisation.

This is primarily a supportive role. You’ll be joining an established team, with opportunities to contribute ideas, develop new skills and gradually take on additional responsibility as experience and confidence grow.

What we’re looking for

We’re seeking someone who:

• Has a vibrant Christian faith and a heart for young people.
• Enjoys working as part of a team but is able to work alone.
• Is organised, dependable and willing to learn.
• Is able to communicate well with young people, volunteers and supporters.

Previous experience in youth work or administration is helpful but not essential. Character, teachability and a willingness to serve are just as important.

The role includes some evening work and occasional weekends. Appointment is subject to satisfactory references, an enhanced DBS check and, under Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010, there is an Occupational Requirement that the successful applicant is a practising Christian.
